The Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry deals with the diagnosis and treatment planning for oral health problems in children including adolescents. The department provides preventive treatment, restorative treatment, endodontics, prosthodontic rehabilitation, oral surgical procedures, preventive and interceptive orthodontic treatment to children.

The Paedodontics department provides comprehensive management of medically compromised child patients and children with special health care needs.

The department is equipped with an Inhalational Conscious Sedation Unit and facilities for treatment under general anaesthesia
