From its modest beginnings in 1962, the Department of Radio Diagnosis has grown into one of the most advanced and well equipped of its kind.  Armed with state of the art machines, manned by competent Radiologists and well trained technicians, it has turned out to be a veritable symbol of the premier position of K.M.C. in the field of diagnostics and health care.  The Department also serves as a showcase of K.M.C's  commitment in the field of Medical Education with one of the most comprehensive post graduate teaching programmes. Alumni from KMC, Department of Radio Diagnosis have also made a significant mark both within and beyond India's shores
