Grants Manager, Office of Research Grants, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (Apr 2021 to Oct 2022): Facilitating faculty at the Institute for proposal development and submission in compliance with the funding agency requirements, manage and maintain a funding database and share relevant funding information with the researchers at the Institute through a dedicated newsletter and over emails along with an extended role in providing post-award support to faculty and facilitating large grants and CSR grants.

  2. Grants Adviser, DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance, Hyderabad (July 2019 to Mar 2021): Involved in pre-award and post-award processes and handling a portfolio of research grant applications and awards. Facilitated liaising with the larger scientific community, support grant decision-making committees and outreach engagements.

For my Doctoral research I worked in the Upper Spiti Landscape in the Indian Trans-Himalaya where I assessed the ecological and social dimensions of threats by free-ranging domestic dogs at multiple scales. At a pan India scale, I evaluated the impacts of domestic dogs on native wildlife while at the scale of the Upper Spiti Landscape in the Trans-Himalayas, the study assessed the human-dog interactions within the framework of human-animal conflict.
