Abstract
In the field of wireless communication, satellite communication and radar communication a selective microwave band of low pass filter (LPF) is used. The LPF of microwave band is used to reject the harmonic components of cut off frequency. This paper describes the design of a 5 th order Mircostrip Elliptical LPF. The physical dimensions are calculated theoretically. The width and length of the stubs are later tuned and optimized to get the best insertion loss in stop and band with a high roll off rate.
