Black anodizing of a magnesium-lithium alloy

Abstract

In an earlier work, the development of protective coatings on magnesium-lithium alloys has been highlighted. As a continuation of that report, this study introduces a process of galvanic black anodization on VSSC magnesium-lithium alloy LA. The proposed process has been successfully implemented on some of the covers of on-board electronic packages of IN-SAT-2C.
