Comparative study and innovative approach in improving efficiency of medium-bay industrial lighting

Abstract

In this paper, an attempt has been made to establish the efficiency of innovated lamp-luminaire assembly over the conventional lamp-luminaire combinations by photometric evaluation. This has been achieved by designing, fabricating and testing of new lamp-reflector assembly and comparing it with the conventional lamp-reflector combinations. The field application study of the newly designed lamp-luminaire assembly has been made and the results presented.
