Conditions leading to eryptosis in erythrocytes: A raman tweezers study

Abstract

Raman tweezers spectroscopy was used to study eryptosis induced by different stressors. Our study shows that, though the main cause of eryptosis may be oxidative stress, the consequences of different stressors may be different.
