Abstract
Solid state lighting, in particular are replacing most of the general lighting applications. Most of the present day solid state lighting systems are designed without any user interface and cannot adjust the brightness level efficiently. Many of the LED lighting system developed has analog circuitry developed to control the PWM output but with the disadvantage of huge and complex circuit. In this paper, a low cost-simple and user interface based digital control illumination module using white LEDs will be presented to overcome the disadvantage of the present day solid state lighting applications. The application can be explored in study room, parking lot at the entry and exit point.
