N2 - The study explains the severity of accidents based or various aspects like season, vehicles involved in collision, burden of pedestrians and animals, burden of roads, not taking safety measures like not wearing helmet and seatbelt, using mobile while driving, drunken driving, distractions, lack of giving signals during lane change or turning, negligence, speeding, not following speed limits etc. The total percentage of death rate is 96.27%. The mortality rate was observed more in the age groups 21-30 that is 23.73% in which males are 22.3% and females are 1.43% which concludes that the age group is very much prone to accidents. Surprisingly that death rate is more in the afternoon that is from 12:01pm to 6:00pm which is 30.21% males and 6.47 females which equals to 36.69%. two-wheeler occupancy had high mortality rate that is 46.75%, which could be due to several reasons like not wearing helmet, over taking other vehicles, speeding, carelessness, skid, sudden break, loss of balance, drunk and drive, use os phones during driving etc. Head injury was one common injury among all the cases hence safety measure will help reduce the risk of death. Seasonal variations rainy, winter and summer may or may not make much of a difference.
