High-efficiency out of plane conversion and manipulation of Surface Plasmon waves

Abstract

We propose a design method of structured grating for out of plane conversion, focusing and manipulation of Surface Plasmon Polariton waves. Advanced functional devices, such as balanced power splitters, and wavelength demultiplexers are demonstrated with high conversion efficiency.
