Abstract

Soil should have shear strength and unconfined compressive strength to bear the load applied on it to prevent failure of the structure build on that soil. Studies have shown improvement in characteristics of soil on introducing nylon reinforcements. The main aim of this study is to observe the changes in characteristics of soil on introducing nylon reinforcement in two methods namely randomly distributed and uniformly distributed.
