Abstract

With our experience in both the faces of the coin (academics and corporate) for many years, we propose few reforms in professional course (engineering education) which can drastically improve the collaboration between academics and corporate world w.r.t knowledge sharing, improving the technical skills, reducing the fear factor of the students about the corporate, gaining the maturity over the selection of right path in the career, to know about what is happening in the real world, real R&D work possibility, to realize our self one day that what we have learnt is really a worth etc. Definitely this blend between academics and industry is going to have its own fragrance, taste and maturity in the professional work. In this paper we will reveal in parallel some of the grey areas in both academics and corporate and why there is need in the improvement and will conclude by summarizing the suggestions.
