Abstract

The treatment of HeLa cells with different concentrations of adriamycin (0, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 μg/ml) resulted in a significant and dose-dependent decline in the cell survival. Conversely, the frequency of micronuclei increased in a concentration-dependent manner. The micronuclei-induction and cell survival were found to be inversely related.
