Niosome encapsulated bleomycin

Abstract

Non-ionic surfactant vesicles (niosomes) are promising drug carriers. Niosome encapsulated bleomycin hydrochloride was evaluated for antitumour activity after administration to tumour bearing mice. The improved anticancer activity observed in the present study may be due to better delivery of bleomycin at the tumour site.
