Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Background and Aim: The present study aimed to assess the social and self-perceptions of children (4 to 8 years) regarding the esthetics of restored primary anterior teeth. Materials and Method: A total of 135 children seeking dental treatment were asked questions about the dental restorations of primary anterior teeth after showing them pictures of restored carious lesions. Results: They showed increased acceptability for Zirconia crowns as compared to other forms of restorations Conclusion: The children can perceive esthetics of their anterior restored teeth as early as 4 years of age which is important when planning esthetic restorations for them.
