Abstract

This paper dispenses a metamutator circuit using Dual-Output Operational Transconductance Amplifier (DO-OTA) and is used to emulate a memristor. The proposed design makes use of two DO-OTAs. Memristor emulation is made possible by terminating three ports of the metamutator with non-linear resistor, capacitor and inductor. The metamutator is realized using behavioral VCCS macro model of DO-OTA and simulated for design values to verify the functionality using LTspice. The simulation results involve verifying the port relations of metamutator along with the V-I plot of the memristor and Monte Carlo plots. The pinched hysteresis plot confirms the emulation of memristor.
