Abstract

This work describes the fabrication of an intelligent humidity sensor using solution processed ZnO nanoparticle. Most often used and easy drop casting technique was utilized to implement this humidity sensor using ZnO nanoparticle at room temperature. The morphological, structural and optical characterization of the solution processed-ZnO nanoparticles were performed by TEM, XRD and UV-Vis spectroscopy prior to humidity sensor fabrication. The working principle of the ZnO nanoparticle humidity sensor depends upon the variation of output current/conductance with the exposure of different humidity level.
