Abstract
In the present study the structural behavior of Precast-Prestressed slab for a multistorey building is studied and the results are compared with the conventional RCC slab system. The main benefit of Precast-Prestressed concrete slab this system is that shallow floor system that reduces dead weight, improves strength and improves aesthetic appearance. This study includes the modelling, analysis of RCC and Precast-Prestressed slabs for a multistory building with ETABS 2016. The loads are considered as per IS 875 Part-2. The paper is of analyzing the effects of two different slab system on frames of G+3 multistorey building and compare their results. The Precast-Prestressed slab system found more structurally strong than conventional slab system.
