Abstract

Syntheses and in-vitro antitubercular and antiinflammatory activities of novel series of 4-pyridoyl-3-substituted-1,2,4-triazolo (3,4-b) (1,3,4) thiadiazolidines (3a-o) from 2 and formaldehyde are described. The compounds 3a,3c,3d, 3f, 3i, 3j, 3k, 3l, 3m and 3o exhibited significant antitubercular activity. It was interesting to note that 3b showed antiinflammatory profile.
